Members of the North Carolina Consular Corps met in Charlotte on March 9, 2018 to discuss various issues and to receive relevant training on the topic of airport security.
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport graciously hosted the event at their facilities and presented the audience with the airport's economic outlook. Members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation covered security aspects and general guidelines for Consuls in situations where their cooperation may be needed.
Airport officials concluded the meeting with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the airport infrastructure.
