Introducing our State

North Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States and is renowned for its natural resources with more than 300 miles of Atlantic coastline and one of the highest mountain peaks on the east coast. North Carolina has a population of about 10 million people and a GDP of about USD 400 billion. It has access to major airports, shipping ports, and is a major contributor to global trade. The largest city is Charlotte with close to 1 million residents and the state capital is Raleigh. The state borders South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. The state is one of America's 13 original colonies and famous for having the oldest state university in the USA, pioneering aviation, and NASCAR.
